I have been creating oil portraits, mostly of peoples' beloved pets for the last 13 years. Especially focusing on the pets that were so loved and then passed away. I find the most reward in the fact that people seem to be especially emotional and thankful with their finished painting. Many say that I have captured the spirit of the lost one and they feel blessed and peaceful to be able to view their portrait for years to come.
As as you navigate along my pages, you will notice that I have painted many people that are quite alive and some beautiful places as well. I have completed approximately 287 portraits. (mostly 16" x 20" size). Dogs are still my favorite subject to paint, so far!
